Here is a pic of WAMM at an altitude of 5548m. This must surely be the overlanders altitude World Record!! We followed a rugged dirt track to this altitude, then cycled all the way back down to the town of San Pedro (alt: 2500m) in the Atacama desert of Chile

Maz & Oli, who met on our Rio 2005 run, get engaged!!!!

On our way back from the jungle in Ecuador, WAMM reaches a landmark mileage!!

Here is the proof!!

Maz leaves WAMM!
After 14 months on the road, Maz finally called it a day and left the big blue truck behind. Maz returns to South Africa for a break, before she heads to London (!!) then plans to study design in Florence, and shop for shoes!

Known by all the locals as "Loco Maz", it was her boundless energy and crazy humour that left an impression on everybody who spent any time aboard WAMM. Below are a few of her best moments, captured on film...

Maz's last day, before leaving Lima (she also became known as "the bomb").

Pedallo ride in Puno..... Cuddling an Alpaca, Colca

Attacking her brother in the cab.... her toga party

With blue thing:carnival.... Eagle in Chivay.... Carnival

With an alligator in the Pantanal.... Driving the truck on the Salar de Uyuni

Debate about WAMM status
At the top of a 4900m pass, as we stopped for a photo break, several pasengers jumped out to "debate" the true status of WAMM.
Last time we saw them, they were still waiting there for a lift...
